At this event, several minor injuries were reported and a man was found shooting death, of an unknown origin shot. Commissioner Garry Desrosiers, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) confirmed this information “We found a corpse. The victim is a young thirty years, we have not yet identified him.”

Other opposition demonstration have experienced violence and clashes with police including in Gonaïves and Port-de-Paix

The parties of the radical opposition have announced further demonstration in Port-au-Prince in the coming days to demand the departure of President Martelly.
